Toby & Sam provided an excellent service. They responded quickly to phone and email enquiries and kept me updated throughout the whole process. I sought 5 quotes for having plantation shutters installed at my property. One for a bay window and two for the upstairs bedroom. They were the most competitive not only on price, but also on the material. I received quotes for the same and greater price but only for MDF, whereas the shutters installed by Craftsmen are fantastic wooden shutters. Additionally, their quoted timeframe was again quicker than other providers (2months vs 3months for all other quotes). The quote provided not only gave the price and description of the shutters but also included a digital diagram of exactly what the shutters would look like which allowed for me to change my mind several times about certain features. I can’t recommend this feature enough. Installation of the blinds took about 2-3 hours and the finish is excellent. Toby is a trained carpenter and as such makes the shutters fit seamlessly into the current window frame. Other companies that I received quotes from suggested that there would be gaps between shutter panels on the bay window which would have looked untidy, whereas those now installed look like they are part of the whole window frame. Sam & Toby are extremely friendly, arrived on time for the appointments, were polite and cleaned up after themselves. They are a small, two person local family business and clearly take great pride in their work. I would highly recommend them and would have no hesitation of using their services again in the future.
