How much will wooden shutters cost?

The price for new wooden shutters will depend entirely on the size of window and the product that is chosen. With so much variation between materials and design, it is impossible to estimate the cost of a product without first determining the measurements for the height and width of your windows. Contact us now for an estimate.

How long do my wooden shutters take to be made?

A.

Bespoke wooden shutters generally take between 8-10 weeks to arrive, from order date to delivery date. We update you during that time to let you know how the process is coming along, to communicate the estimated week of arrival and to arrange a suitable fitting date.

How long are my shutters guaranteed for?

A.

Your shutters are guaranteed for 36 months from the point of installation. This includes any quality issues on the shutters.

My windows are not quite perfect squares; can I still have shutters?

A.

Many windows, especially those in older houses, can be imperfectly shaped. Where this is the case, we simply fit the shutters using small side battens or frames to provide a correct fit.

How do I clean my shutters?

Our shutters are designed to be almost maintenance-free. Simply dust them regularly and if necessary wipe them down with a damp cloth or sponge.

Every order is custom-made to your precise measurements at the time you place your order. As a result, we cannot accommodate returns, modification or refunds.

How much do you charge for general carpentry?

We cannot price general carpentry work using an hourly fee, but we price every job individually. Fixed price quotation will be given after visiting your property. Until we have seen your property & discuss your requirements we cannot commit to any pricing.

Does this include materials?

No. Most customers use us purely as a labour service. They normally supply their own materials. But we can buy materials for you at an extra cost from our suppliers.

How soon can you start work?

We aim to provide a free estimate within a week. Once the work is agreed, we aim to start work as soon as possible. We will endeavour to be flexible and fit to our customersĀ“ timescales.

Do you come with the right tools?

Yes! All our operatives carry a full range of tools to tackle most jobs.

We take on both small and large jobs. Just give us a call or email us to discuss your requirements.

Will I have to wait in all day for you to show up?

No! We aim to be on site when we say we will. Sometimes however we may be delayed, if this is the case we will call you in advance.

No. Any parking fees & congestion charge incurred are in addition to the labour charge.

How can I pay?

We accept cash, bank transfer or cheques. A deposit should be paid before any work can commence.Ā  Full payment is due upon completion of the job.
